Lev St. Valentine’s debut poetry collection, Pyre House, is a poignant, pleading journey through a home where faith is dragged through the dirt, guilt burns like incense, and every door leads back inside. It holds grief up with bloody hands and speaks with visceral urgency. Pyre House doesn’t offer answers– it simply shows us what remains after everything burns away.
Pyre House is a full-length collection containing over one hundred pages and more than forty works, now available as a digital copy.
From the author:
This book isn’t a chronology. It’s a mosaic of the pieces I could bear to face, a portrait painted in fragments. It’s about memory, grief, and the slow, painful work of naming what you’ve lived through. It’s about a boy I once begged for, and what came after. About the rooms we grew up in, and the smoke I didn’t see until it was too late. I wrote this to remember. I wrote this to survive. I wrote this for him.
